Hospice Nightgown construction:

1. Any variety of sizes are welcomed.

2. Cut down the middle of the back of the gown.

3. Prepare (2) 1/4" tie strings for top of gown -- 20" long.

4. Use single binding or heavyweight muslin to sew a strip from top to bottom of gown -- leave 1/4" at both ends and make sure to sew tie string into binding at top of gown.

5. Fold over binding to inside of gown and topstitch edge.

6. Fold in top and bottom edge of binding before sewing other side of binding from top to bottom of gown.

7. Repeat on other side of gown.

8. Sew any size pocket on front of gown --- preferably a quilt-type square.
